Meet
Cyro, an autonomous robotic jellyfish the size and weight of a grown
man. The robot, which was modelled and named after the jellyfish Cyanea
capillata, is made out of silicone and is powered by a rechargeable
nickel metal battery. It could be used to monitor the environment, clean
oil spills and conduct military surveillance.
